sand in my toes

We spent Sunday afternoon at Galveston.  We spend most of our time at the beach. Not anywhere near Pensacola Beach, but we have found a couple of areas we like on Galveston, and we have a good time. 

 

We spent so much time watching these coquina snails. The waves would uncover them, and they would quickly burrow themselves back into the sand with their bivalves( <- or something else smart sounding). 

               We also rode the ferry to watch the dolphins playing in the water.
      The weather was so beautiful. I am so thankful for the time away, now that mid-terms are over.
